What changed in October 2026: agents can now sign in to a web portal, set up a public profile, and ask us to check a professional registration. Sections 1, 4 and 5 explain what that involves.

2. How we use it

3. AI processing

Listing text is sent to a third-party AI provider for structuring and analysis. This supports formatting and duplicate detection only. It is not legal, title or ownership verification. Please avoid including sensitive personal details, such as national ID numbers or bank details, in listing submissions.

4. Public profiles, badges and registration numbers

We collect registration numbers and names only to carry out the check you ask for.

5. How we share it

We do not sell personal information.

6. Retention

We keep account and listing data while your account is active, and for a reasonable period after, to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and support fraud and duplicate detection across past listings. Verification requests are kept while your account is active so that you can renew and so that we can show a record of what was checked.

7. Your choices

You may also have rights under the data protection law that applies where you live, including Nigerian law for users in Nigeria.

8. Security

We use standard cloud infrastructure and access controls to protect stored data. No system is fully secure. Do not share your sign-in codes or your account access with anyone, and avoid sharing sensitive details beyond what a listing requires.

9. International users

Our providers may process and store data in different countries. Using Ojúilé means your information may be transferred and processed outside your home country in connection with the service.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the platform and legal requirements change. The effective date above shows the latest revision.
